Poco Teases Launch Of Its 1st Tablet, Poco Pad On This Date

Poco has teased the launch of its first tablet, the Poco Pad, soon. This marks the company’s foray into the tablet market, and the device will arrive alongside the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. Furthermore, the Poco Pad is likely to be a rebrand of the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro from China. Here is everything you need to know about the launch of the Poco Pad.

Poco Pad Confirmed to Launch On May 23

The company will introduce its first tablet, the Poco Pad, in Dubai on May 23, 2024. It will launch alongside the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro.

The teaser promises a large display with the tagline” Big display. Bigger Plays.” According to rumours, it is likely a rebrand of the Redmi Pad Pro.

The Poco Pad is expected to launch with a massive 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will offer a peak brightness of 600 nits with Dolby Vision and a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.

The Poco Pad could rely on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, it will ship with HyperOS based on Android 14 and offer up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

On the back, you will get an 8-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front for video calls. Moreover, the Poco Pad will likely launch with a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In addition, users can expect a keyboard accessory and stylus support from the tablet. You also get a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, but connectivity will be limited to Wi-Fi as there is no 5G variant.
