OnePlus’ upcoming Nord series smartphone, OnePlus Nord 2T, is reportedly under the testing phase. After a recent renders leak, a new live image of the upcoming smartphone. This live image, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, gives us a close-up look at the rear module of the smartphone. It also gives a look at the finish of the smartphone. Previously, we came across a leak that revealed the Nord 2T specifications. Furthermore, the launch timeline and pricing of the upcoming device have leaked online.

OnePlus Nord 2T Live Image
The new live image shows a close-up of the camera module and sandstone rear panel. The rectangular camera island includes a triple camera setup and two sensors. The camera modules are two circular rings, where the top ring houses the primary camera and the bottom ring features dual cameras. The camera rings are paired with two sensors. These are not two different flash modules as reported earlier, but rather one LED Flash and an ambient light sensor, similar to the sensor on the OnePlus 8T.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord 2T (Expected)
According to reports, the smartphone has a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, 2400×1080 pixel resolution, lower bezels, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset powers the phone. This is a step up over the Nord 2’s MediaTek Dimensity 1200.
Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 2T would include a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship. In terms of optics, the OnePlus phone will feature triple cameras at the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. Upfront, it will get the same 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and videos.

Furthermore, the previous reports suggest that the smartphone can launch in April or May. This suggests that as we get closer to the launch date, we should start hearing from OnePlus. The Nord 2T is between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. There is a likelihood that the base model is under Rs. 30,000.
