OnePlus Buds Z2 Specifications

The company promises five hours of non-stop playback with ANC on or 7 hours without ANC. That’s how much the built-in 40mAh battery in each bud lasts. The charging case, on the other hand, packs a 520 mAh cell, charges over USB-C. It provides enough juice to the buds for five hour-long playbacks in just 10 minutes.

There’s also a short USB Type-C cable to charge the battery in the case. A button on the back of the case puts the OnePlus Buds Z2 into pairing mode, and there’s a single LED on the front to indicate the status.

The biggest addition to the new earbuds is ANC or Active Noise cancellation. Although, sound quality-wise, there should be a pretty small difference between the OnePlus Buds Z2 and the Buds Pro. As the company says the same 11mm dynamic drivers found in the Buds Pro are available here as well.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 are available in Pearl White or Obsidian Black and are stored and charged in a pill-shaped plastic case that’s virtually identical to the Buds Z’s Case from last year. It’s shiny on the outside, matte on the inside, and features a multi-coloured status LED in front. It features a USB Type-C connector and a pairing button on the back. Magnets hold the earbuds firmly inside the case.

Although, the OnePlus Buds, these ones offer better integration with OnePlus-made phones. However, if you are using a different brand or an iPhone, you can dig into the settings using the HeyMelody app.
