Microsoft has announced a new Xbox stereo headset, costing USD 59.99 for the wired variant that is less expensive than the fantastic USD 100 wireless headset that launched earlier this year. It will be launching on September 21, according to Microsoft, and will be devoid of a few features, while much of the design will remain intact. The Xbox Stereo Headset will cost Rs. 5,990 in India.

The volume may be adjusted by twisting the dial on the exterior of the right ear cup, and there’s a mute button on the back of the flexible microphone, similar to the wireless version.
The Xbox stereo headset doesn’t seem to have the chat/game audio mixing dial on the left ear cup like the more expensive model, but given the price difference, this isn’t a huge loss.

The bold green 3.5mm cord and plug on this Stereo headset connects to your Xbox controller; allowing you to use it with various devices (and controllers) that support that plug.
According to The Verge, the Xbox stereo headset supports spatial sound technologies such as Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, and DTS:X; and boasts “clean mid and high-frequency performance with strong bass.”
Many gamers should be delighted with this USD 59.99 option if the sound quality is equivalent to the wireless version.
