iQOO 9 Series India Launch Date Revealed: Check Details Here

iQOO has announced the launch date of its new series in India. To recall, iQOO already launched their iQOO 9 series of phones in China. Now, the smartphones are all ready to launch in India soon. Moreover, reports have already confirmed its availability on Amazon. In addition, the line-up will have three devices: iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9SE.

iQOO 9 Launching on February 23

According to the brand, the iQOO 9 series line-up will be launching on February 23, 2022, in India during an online event.  iQOO already launched two smartphones — iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro in China. Moreover, the teaser hint that the Indian variant will come with an “iconic Legend tricolour design” on the back panel.

Now, there is not much information regarding the launch yet. iQOO may reveal the details soon. But the company confirms that the series will be an Amazon exclusive. In another tweet, the Chinese company’s India arm has shared a short video clip that teases the power of the iQOO 9 series. The clip suggests that the phone can handle multitasking and gaming among other heavy usage tasks easily. It also teases two colourways in which the phones are expected to make their debut in India. Moreover, another tweet hints at “Next Gen Gaming and Superior Camera”.

iQOO 9 series: What We Know So Far

Previous reports have suggested that the iQOO 9 Pro model may come with a 6.78-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh and a QHD+ resolution. The Chinese model has a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 16-megapixel triple camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie lens. It houses a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.

Whereas, the iQOO 9 for India, may have the iQOO8(China model) specs. But these will be slightly different. The iQOO 8 has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It has a 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple rear camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The phone packs a 4,350mAh battery and has support for 120W fast charging.

Moreover, the iQOO 9 SE will flaunt a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. iQOO 9 SE houses a 48-megapixel triple camera setup on the back and a 16-megapixel snapper on the front. It could pack a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The SE model shares similar specifications to iQOO Neo 5S debuted in China last year.
