iQOO 8 series is launching in China on August 17th. Now, according to various leaks, we have a good picture of what we are expecting. However, ahead of the launch, the company has released an official poster on its official channels. This confirms key specifications, including the display resolution, fast charging and processor. Although it is a successor to iQOO 7 – it is planning to bring some significant upgrades to its hardware.

According to the teaser image, the company is confirming that the BMW M Motorsport partnership will also extend to the iQOO 8. It also confirms that it will come with a 2K display, which is similar to recent reports.

iQOO 8 will use an E5 AMOLED LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) 10bit panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, it will dynamically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the content on the screen. Moreover, it also confirms that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+SoC. This makes iQOO 8 the first commercial phone in the world to use the latest chipset.

Furthermore, the flagship is also confirmed to support 120W fast charging. On the other hand, its design shows off a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. iQOO 8 will have curved edges and narrow bezels. Just like its predecessor, it will be available in Black colour with what looks like a carbon fibre pattern and White colour with BMW strips. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed about the phone with the new teaser image.
