iQOO 7 Pro Indian variant was recently seen listed on Google Play Console with the model number i2017. While the smartphone maker has added a new series of smartphones with the launch of the 8 series in China, there have been rumours about the release of the vanilla device from the series in India next month as the 7 Pro Indian Variant.

It is interesting to note that, Pro variant of the 7 series was never brought out in the market. There is a possibility that the company might release this device as iQOO 8 Pro in the Indian market.
iQOO 7 Pro Indian Variant Specifications
The listing on the Google Play Console mentions that the iQOO 7 Pro Indian variant will run on a Snapdragon 888 series SoC and might have an 888+ series SoC precisely like the 8 series in China. It will have Android 11 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 11.

The Octa-core processor in the iQOO 7 Pro Indian Variant will have 8 GB RAM and an Adreno 660 GPU. As per the listing, the device might feature a curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. One significant difference between the 7 Pro and 8 Pro is that the latter has a 2K curved AMOLED display.
With the listing, the company might soon debut its iQOO 7 Pro flagship model in India. However, no announcement has been made for the official launch date. It is also rumoured that the vanilla iQOO 8 will launch in mid-September in India; however, there is no official word on the Pro model’s launch date.
