This means Apple will produce about 33.2 million Pro Max units, a big jump from last year’s 24.2 million Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max units. Production of the standard iPhone 16 Pro is also set to increase, with around 26.6 million units expected, compared to last year’s 21.8 million Apple iPhone 15 Pro units.

Standard Models in iPhone 16 Series
The non-Pro versions of the iPhone 16 series will make up about one-third of the total production. Apple plans to make around 24.5 million standard iPhone 16 units this year, a bit more than the 21.8 million units made last year. However, the iPhone 16 Plus will see a drop in production, with only about 5.8 million units planned, down from the eight million units for the iPhone 15 Plus. As the iPhone 16 Pro Launch approaches, Apple is ramping up production to ensure enough supply to meet the high demand from eager customers.
