iPhone 14 Plus: Is It Worth Buying?

The Apple iPhone 14 Plus will go on sale for the first time next week, on October 7, 2022. The iPhone 14 series’ other gadgets are already on the market. The iPhone 14 Plus variation is a new model offered by Apple this year for customers who want a larger screen and a larger battery than the basic model at a lesser price than the Pro variants.

The Apple iPhone 14 Plus starts at Rs. 89,990 for the 128GB storage capacity. Those interested in the 256GB and 512GB storage variants must pay Rs. 99,900 and Rs. 1,19,900, respectively. The Plus model’s offers will most likely be unveiled next week when it sells. Is the iPhone 14 Plus even worth purchasing in India? Continue reading to discover out.

iPhone 14 Plus: Is It Worth Buying?

As previously said, the iPhone 14 Plus is not for everyone and is geared toward individuals who want an iPhone with a large display and battery at a lower price than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro versions. However, in my opinion, the Plus is not worth your money for various reasons.

The Plus edition is unreasonable; even after spending over Rs. 90,000 in India, many are not getting enough. The smartphone is more expensive than the iPhone 14 model, with a price difference of Rs. 10,000. Both phones have comparable functionality, with the main difference being the display size.

The Plus variant has a 6.7-inch OLED display, while the standard model has a 6.1-inch OLED display. Apart from the battery, the rest of the characteristics are the same.

Apple boasts that the Plus model has a larger battery, but I don’t believe there is a significant difference. In video playback streaming, it is touted to provide up to 20 hours of battery life, whereas the iPhone 14 offers 16 hours.

While the claims are not entirely accurate in real-life circumstances, and the hours are slightly less than what is officially put on paper, Apple maintains that there is just a 4-hour difference between the two models.
