Samsung Galaxy A56 One UI 9 Update: What's New?
One of the main changes in the Samsung Galaxy A56 One UI 9 update is the improved Quick Panel. Users get more flexibility to arrange controls, including resizing the brightness slider, volume slider and media player. The sound mode button can also be separated from the volume control.
The update also adds a visible location privacy indicator. A blue indicator appears when an app accesses the phone's location, helping users identify when location information is being used. Users can check the Quick Panel to see which app is accessing it.
Other additions listed in the Galaxy A56 update record include a Warranty and Care menu, a redesigned lock-screen clock and new accessibility tools.
These accessibility features include an enlarged-text window and a Select to Speak tool, which reads selected content on the screen aloud. The changes aim to make the phone easier to customise and use.
However, not every feature announced as part of the wider One UI 9 rollout will necessarily be available on the Galaxy A56. Features may vary depending on the device, hardware and regional software version.

Galaxy A27 Also Reportedly Gets One UI 9
The Galaxy A27 has also appeared in reports about Samsung's stable One UI 9 rollout. A report published on October 15 identified the update's availability in South Korea, alongside updates for other Galaxy A-series devices.
The reported Galaxy A27 firmware version is A276KKSU3BZIF. This build number applies to the reported regional release and may differ in other markets.
Samsung's wider One UI 9 announcement also mentions Galaxy AI features, including My FanCam and personalised Now Brief cards. However, the general announcement does not confirm that these features are available on the Galaxy A56 or Galaxy A27.
Indian users who cannot see the update yet may need to wait for the rollout to reach their device. Software releases can arrive at different times depending on the model variant, region and carrier.
