Apple Store Goes Down Ahead of iPhone 13 Launch Event

As is tradition, Apple’s online Apple Store goes down ahead of the “California streaming” event tonight. Every year the company puts its online store and the app into a maintenance mode. But this happens only a few hours before the launch event. The company does so to prepare itself for its new product lineup. Visitors to the store will see a message stating the page will “Be right back,” complete with the multi-coloured Apple logo animation.

The Apple Event is just hours away. We can expect to see the launch of multiple products, including the new iPhone 13 range, AirPods 3, and the Apple Watch Series 7, among others. However, nothing is confirmed by the company as of yet. Although leaks and rumours have surfaced online hinting at the launch. On the other hand, rumours suggesting two Apple Events this fall are surfacing online. Apparently, the second event will cover the iPad and Mac product lines.

As per a report, Apple will not announce its new MacBook Pros or iPads during tomorrow’s California Streaming event. In another report, analyst Kuo notes that the iPhone 13 Pro variants will be available with up to 1TB of storage. Whereas, the iPhone mini and iPhone 13 will start from 128GB storage. He also mentions in the note that Apple AirPods 3 might have a slightly higher cost than its predecessor. Meanwhile, reports suggest that this third-gen AirPods will feature a new design similar to the AirPods Pro but lacking in “Pro” features.

Apple’s California Streaming event will take place on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10:30 pm IST. In addition, to the iPhone 13 series and watch series launch we can also expect the launch of AirPods 3 during the event.
