5G Services To Replace 4G Soon In India

Ashwini Vaishnaw stated about the 5G Services in India at an event on Sunday. The Union Electronics And Information Technology Minister said that the 5G Services will very soon roll in India.

He also mentioned that the services are ready to cover the entire country in the next 2 years. Though earlier, he stated that the services would be ready by October.

The spectrum allocation letters were further issued by the Government to the telecom service providers. They were also asked to start the preparation for 5G Services.

Reliance Jio has also announced that this year’s Diwali Gift will be the 5G Services to the customers. The focus cities for these services are Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai. Jio has also stated that by the year 2023, it will cover all the country’s towns, talukas, and tehsils.

Comparison Of The 5G Services With 3G And 4G

5G services is the fifth generation mobile network offering high data usage at a fast speed. The Services will have low latency in comparison to 3G and 4G. That will result in enhancing the user experience.

The term ‘low latency’ describes the efficiency of processing high data text usage with low delay. This service will also result in a change in the development of monitoring remote data. The domains of mining, warehousing, telemedicine, and others will see a change. The speed of 5G will be way 10 times faster than 4G.

5G Telecom Spectrum Auction

The Spectrum auction had the prime members of Reliance Jio, Adani Group, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea. The Telecom department has received a total of Rs. 1.50 Lakh Crore from the last auction. The estimated revenue was Rs. 80,000-Rs. 90,000 Crore.

The auction was also special as it was the first time in which Gautam Adani led the Adani Group and was present in the bidding process of the 5G telecom spectrum auction.
