In case you are looking for an ideal device under budget, then the HP Pavilion 15 (AMD Quad Core Ryzen 7/8 GB/1 TB 256 GB SSD/Windows 10/6 GB) is amongst the most sought after devices that you can go for. The laptop features an AMD Ryzen 7  processor with a 2.3 GHz clock speed so that you can multitask with ease and accomplish your tasks timely.
The HP Pavilion 15 is a budget-friendly gaming laptop with an AMD Ryzen processor and dedicated NVIDIA GPUs. It&#8217;s totally composed of plastic, but it feels well-crafted and sturdy. If you need to replace the RAM or install a 2.5-inch hard drive, the internals is also readily accessible. Overall, the user experience is good: the keys on the keyboard are adequately spaced and have sufficient travel, and there&#8217;s a Numpad if you frequently perform math or work with spreadsheets. HP Pavilion 15 Review

I evaluated the <a href="https://www.cashify.in/hp-pavilion-15-ec0029ax-8uz39pa-amd-quad-core-ryzen-7-8-gb-1-tb-256-gb-ssd-windows-10-6-gb-laptop-price-in-india">HP Pavilion 15</a> with a 1080p 60Hz display, an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD for the review. The HP Pavilion 15, is a member of one of the HP Pavilion 15 family, and as such, it commands one of HP&#8217;s mid-range line&#8217;s highest pricing.

The HP Pavilion 15 is available for ₹49,990. You can purchase the laptop via HP Exclusive online and offline stores, Croma, Flipkart, and Amazon. That isn&#8217;t to argue that it isn&#8217;t pricey. When shopping for a mid-range computer, saving money on storage is a good idea. However, I recommend you go for 16GB RAM if you can.

Before I get into the intricacies of the laptop, let&#8217;s have a look at the on-paper specifications:

One of the first things I noticed about the HP Pavilion 15 during the review is that it doesn&#8217;t appear like a typical mid-range business laptop. With its sharp edges and stylish silver appearance, you&#8217;d believe it was created for gamers without the RGB bling. It has an appealing, modest appearance, with a modern, pleasingly thin bezel that still manages to house a 720p webcam for all of your video conferencing needs. The build quality is solid, with the majority of the device being made of aluminium to ensure it can resist a fall.
The build quality of the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop is excellent. Although it&#8217;s totally composed of plastic, it&#8217;s sturdy and scratch-resistant. When twisted, the keyboard deck and rear shell flex, and the screen flex, also; when closed, the laptop feels exceptionally robust. When put on a flat surface, it features rubber feet that help keep the laptop stable.
With a weight of 2.19kg, the Pavilion 15 is notably heavier than the rest of its competitors, yet it&#8217;s still light enough to sling in a backpack and carry around.

The Pavilion&#8217;s 1080p IPS display is sharp for a 15-inch monitor, and its 1593:1 contrast ratio is above average—but the rest of the panel is pretty mediocre. The maximum brightness of the HP Pavilion 15 laptop with the claimed panel of 250cd/m2 is below average. In brightly light environments, it doesn&#8217;t get bright enough to overcome glare, much less when working outside. However, even at its lowest brightness setting, it gets dark enough to provide a comfortable dark room watching experience. There are models with a brighter, 300cd/m2-rated panel, which I expect to perform much better in bright environments but are still not suitable for outdoor use.
Furthermore, the display only covers around 67.6 per cent of the sRGB colour space, which is used by the majority of applications and websites. Compared to more high-end screens, everything will appear washed out, and colours will be far from true in our assessments, thanks to a gamma of only 1.78 (2.2 usually is optimum). That implies that when the computer sends a precise shade to the screen, it may display a shade that is slightly &#8220;off&#8221; from the intended colour. This isn&#8217;t a big deal if you don&#8217;t do photo or video editing, but it&#8217;s something to consider.

Throughout the review, the HP Pavilion 15&#8217;s performance stands out. For the system, HP has included an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 with 6GB VRAM, but only for graphically heavy applications. The storage needs are met with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD and a 256GB NVMe SSD. With these specifications, a PC can easily play all of the latest games, however with some tradeoffs.
The Ryzen 7 is a fantastic processor that, like its predecessors, can easily handle all of today&#8217;s games. It didn&#8217;t stutter when browsing, even with a slew of Chrome tabs open, and it&#8217;s clearly up to the challenge of tearing through any schoolwork or meeting any pressing deadlines. There&#8217;s even the possibility of some light gaming &#8211; but don&#8217;t expect to get too carried away. It works well in less-demanding games like Minecraft, but loading up a large Football Manager database proved too much.

The screen is nice but not outstanding. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which provides enough pixel density to prevent things from seeming grainy to the naked eye. It is highly reflective, which helps to offset the IPS panel&#8217;s somewhat disappointing contrast, but also means it&#8217;s not enjoyable to use with a window behind you. Although I&#8217;ve seen many fingerprint magnets, if you&#8217;re poking at this display on a regular basis, it&#8217;ll be helpful to have a microfiber cloth on hand.
When you&#8217;re not gaming, the Pavilion 15 makes it simple to get things done. HP is known for producing some of the best laptop keyboards, and this one is no exception. The keys have a lot of space and are spread out. There&#8217;s very little key ghosting, so typing long papers is a breeze.  A full-size Numpad is also included. The trackpad is accurate, although HP still has some work to do to improve it.

When you purchase a midrange laptop like this, you&#8217;re taking a chance on crucial system components. For example, the keyboard and trackpad are frequently degraded, with keys that don&#8217;t always function correctly or a trackpad that bounces the cursor around the screen.
During the review, I found the keyboard on the HP Pavilion 15 to be excellent. It&#8217;s comfortable to type on, with rather sturdy keys built of low-cost plastic. Due to its lengthy travel distance and moderate tactile bump, it does not create tiredness over long periods of time. The keys are well-spaced, although the arrow keys and several special function keys have a unique layout that may take some getting accustomed to. A Numpad is included, which can be useful if you need to assign extra keys in some games or frequently enter numbers in spreadsheets. Backlighting with adjustable brightness is available on some models, including ours, but the colour can&#8217;t be changed, therefore it&#8217;s confined to Acid Green or Ghost White. If backlighting isn&#8217;t crucial to you, you can have it.

The touchpad on the HP Pavilion 15 is rather good. It&#8217;s on the small side, yet it correctly monitors movements without stuttering. However, it occasionally has difficulty with multi-touch gestures, which means you can have trouble choosing numerous icons or items in a list by dragging them together. Since there&#8217;s a Numpad, the touchpad is pushed to the left side of the keyboard deck to maintain it centred under the primary area of the keyboard, which some users may find annoying.

After my HP Pavilion 15 review, there&#8217;s no denying that the HP Pavilion 15&#8217;s battery life is a major letdown. Given its size, I expected the battery to be large enough to last at least a full day&#8217;s work; as it stands, you&#8217;d have your work cut out for you to squeeze eight hours out of it. Our PCMark&#8217;s battery test lasted a half-hour longer.
Obviously, it&#8217;s not the worst &#8211; some gaming laptops&#8217; inadequate batteries can die after a couple of hours, and this is significantly better &#8211; but it&#8217;s more indication that HP may have run out of space inside the HP Pavilion 15&#8217;s chassis or at the very least cut one too many corners. It does, however, quickly charge, reaching half capacity in around half an hour.

In my HP Pavilion 15 Review, I found that the speakers are merely adequate. They fire upwards, close to the screen, from above the keyboard, with minimal compression at maximum volume. However, because they don&#8217;t get very loud, they&#8217;re not ideal for deep listening when watching movies or playing video games. Mid- and treble-heavy frequency response with a tiny bump to accentuate vocals. This means that the speakers deliver a satisfying listening experience in speech-heavy content such as podcasts, but diversified information does not sound as rich. The webcam and microphone on the HP Pavilion 15 are sufficient. Unfortunately, during the review, we found that the webcam image is slightly overexposed and lacks fine details. It&#8217;s also heavily cropped, giving in a minimal field of view. Fortunately, the colours appear to be natural in general. On the other hand, the microphone records muted, bad-sounding audio, and voices come off as nasal.
In my HP Pavilion 15 review, we found the laptop with a good selection of ports. One USB-A port on either side supports the USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer protocol (up to 5Gbps), while the other supports USB 2.0 (up to 480Mbps) and HP Sleep and Charge, which lets you charge devices more rapidly even when the laptop is in sleep mode. Although the USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and video output, it is not capable of charging the laptop. If you need to output to an external monitor, an HDMI 2.0 port is available.

The HP Victus 16 (2021) is a low-cost gaming laptop with Intel 11th Generation processors and specialized NVIDIA graphics. It&#8217;s a solid-feeling laptop with a simple design that won&#8217;t stand out in a professional setting, despite the fact that it&#8217;s totally plastic. However, it&#8217;s large and hefty, and the battery only lasts a little over 5 hours of light work or less than 2 hours when gaming. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, the touchpad is spacious and sensitive, and numerous ports, including an HDMI 2.1 port and an Ethernet port.
Its 144Hz panel produces a clean image with minimal ghosting in fast-moving scenarios, but it lacks variable refresh rate capabilities to avoid screen tearing and does not get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i5 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU deliver a fluid 1080p gaming experience and can handle demanding jobs such as video editing and 3D animation. Because there is only a little degree of thermal throttling on the CPU and it doesn&#8217;t grow extremely hot or loud under load, it has excellent long-term performance.

In this review, I&#8217;m examining the <a href="https://www.cashify.in/hp-victus-16-d0003tx-48v01pa-core-i5-11th-gen-8-gb-512-gb-ssd-windows-10-4-gb-laptop-price-in-india">HP Victus 16</a> which comes in at Rs. 82,000 and is outfitted with an Intel Core i5 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD.

The laptop is made of plastic and has a matte grey appearance. The single noteworthy feature is an embedded glossy &#8220;V&#8221; on the back of the 16.1-inch display, which is the only primary emphasis. The laptop is 14.5 x 10.2 x 0.93 inches in size and weighs 5.4 pounds. This makes it one of the heaviest laptops in its class, while several competitors weigh less than 5 pounds.
The Victus&#8217;s left edge houses the majority of the I/O. The charging port, a fold-out RJ45 jack, an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB 3.0 Type C port, a headset combo jack, and an SD card reader are all located on the top of the device.

Besides the power jack, this is an excellent collection. Those dedicated Ethernet connectors are particularly appealing to me, and I wish more laptops had them.
As I continue my review on design and build, I notice that the right edge is mostly bare, but for two USB 3.0 connections. The screen is 0.3-inches thick, slightly thicker than comparable laptops in this price category, but it&#8217;s not something I&#8217;d be concerned about. I like how the screen has a tiny depression around the edge for a better grip when opening the laptop.
The matte grey coating also extends to the rest of the laptop. Around three of the edges, the screen bezels are beautiful and small. The majority of the circuitry is located near the display&#8217;s bottom. The Victus&#8217; bottom bezel measures little more than an inch, which has become quite normal. A large strip of mesh covers the stereo speakers at the top of the keyboard, directly below the hinge. Here, I appreciate the faint &#8220;V&#8221; pattern. Compared to the photo, it&#8217;s far less noticeable on the actual unit.
The Bang and Olufsen speakers on the Victus impressed me quite a bit. They can go loud and have superb stereo imaging, but they lack bass nearly entirely, as do all built-in laptop audio systems. The EQ has been tweaked to decrease the highs somewhat, making them sound less tinny, but it also makes the low to mid-range sound muddy. In low light, the webcam on top is just 720p, and it becomes blurry. During the day, I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s fine for most web calls, but the quality degrades dramatically at night. Modern phones have incredible cameras packed into small spaces, yet laptop webcams haven&#8217;t progressed much in a decade.

The Victus&#8217; panel stays at 1920 x 1080 resolution rather than going higher, and it boasts a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth action in single-player games and mainstream gaming scenarios.
However in my review when it comes to quality, HP Victus 16 has fallen short. With a peak brightness of 240 nits, this panel is only suitable indoors; even then, it may struggle under very bright conditions. The Delta E of 4.9 is likewise relatively low. The panel barely covered 58.8 per cent of the sRGB colour spectrum, which means it can&#8217;t display a lot of the hues that major games require.

The screen&#8217;s black point of 0.14 nits is respectable. The contrast ratio of 1714:1 is excellent, implying that the panel does an excellent job conveying depth – but it&#8217;s small consolation given my other findings. Games appear washed-out and bland on this panel due to the low brightness and narrow colour band.
The HP is fine for everyday gaming, and its competitors fared similarly &#8211; the Dell and MSI PCs had poor gamut management, and the Lenovo gave disappointing contrast.

The Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM falls right in line with the GPU. It was plenty to handle 40 Google Chrome tabs and five 1080p YouTube videos without a hitch. The HP Victus 16 nailed the Geekbench 5.4 overall performance test with a score of 9,426, much exceeding the norm for popular gaming laptops (7,140). During the performance review, the HP Victus 16 took 7 minutes and 12 seconds in our HandBrake test to transcode a 4K video to 1080p, significantly faster than the average. HP&#8217;s Victus 16 comes with a 512GB SSD that is terrible. It transfers data at a rate of 161 megabytes per second, lower than the category average (756 MBps).
The HP Victus has excellent long-term performance. In my HP Victus 16 performance review, I found that under load, neither the CPU nor the GPU gets hot. The CPU experiences some heat throttling, although it&#8217;s minor and only evident when playing a CPU-intensive game or application, not in GPU-limited games with low CPU utilisation.

Moving on, let&#8217;s talk about the keyboard and trackpad. Well, HP has a history of producing competent, if not spectacular, keyboards, and the Victus lives up to that legacy. Since there is only one illumination level, don&#8217;t anticipate RGB or even complex backlighting.
In my HP Victus 16 review, I found that the keyboard is primarily conventional, save for the function keys that launch the Windows calculator programme and the Omen Gaming Hub. While the surface is smooth and the touchpad is practically clickable throughout its entire surface, it seems a little cheaper than the touchpads on work computers. The Victus 16&#8217;s keyboard is actually quite comfortable to work for a gaming laptop.
The touchpad on the HP Victus is excellent. It&#8217;s big, tracks all movements and gestures perfectly, and doesn&#8217;t have any problems with palm rejection or dragging and dropping. The click feels good. However, you can&#8217;t click on the top of the touchpad.

The HP Victus 16 laptop&#8217;s battery life review was disappointing, as it is with most gaming laptops. Depending on the task, you can expect a battery life of four to five hours. Despite the fact that the laptop supports NVIDIA Optimus, which switches to integrated graphics in light workloads to save battery life, the battery isn&#8217;t long enough to get you through a regular 8-hour workday of light productivity.
Video playback depletes the battery even more quickly, leaving you with barely enough power to watch two full-length movies. The battery life while gaming is rather short, so you&#8217;ll have to play with the laptop plugged in the majority of the time; yet, it&#8217;s still quite good when compared to other gaming laptops with a dedicated GPU. I got slightly more than 3.5 hours during the review when multitasking between MS Word and Google Chrome (7 to 8 tabs including YouTube) at 70 per cent screen brightness. However, battery life varies a lot depending on how you use it.
In my HP Victus 16 review, I feel the Victus falls short in terms of battery life, yet I believe the AMD version of this laptop will perform better. I&#8217;d say the battery life is about average for a gaming laptop.

The HP Victus 16 audio review was a little underwhelming for me. The dual speakers are indeed loud enough. In fact, for testing, I had to set the volume down a little below the maximum. The HP Victus 16 has two downward-firing speakers with Bang &amp; Olufsen sound tuning. They sound well-balanced, with strong vocal presence and clarity, but there isn&#8217;t a lot of bass or treble extension. In a nutshell, they work well for spoken content but not so well for music and movies. An EQ can fine-tune the audio depending on what you&#8217;re listening to.
The speakers deliver excellent mids and highs with no distortion at high levels. Speaking of high volume, the speakers here aren&#8217;t particularly loud, and the audio can be drowned out by the fans&#8217; maximum level. After the HP Victus 16 Audio review, I&#8217;d suggest wearing headphones or using external speakers if you&#8217;re gaming or watching a movie. For video conferencing or simply engaging with Cortana and other digital assistants, the Victus 16 has noise cancellation functions. These worked well in general, even though my home office usually is quiet.
The video quality of the webcam is excellent. The image is bright and contains a good quantity of fine detail. However, it is slightly loud. Over the microphone, speech is clear, with only a little static and background noise.
The HP Victus features a large number of ports. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transmission speed is supported by all USB ports (up to 5Gbps). The USB-A port on the left and the USB-C port on the right enables HP Sleep and Charge, which means you may charge a mobile device while the laptop is in sleep mode. A video signal with a maximum resolution of 5120 x 2880 @ 60Hz can be output via the USB-C connector. The highest output resolution of the HDMI 2.1 connection is 4k @ 120Hz or 8k @ 60Hz.
