Realme is planning to introduce the second phone in the GT series, the Realme GT 6, in India. The company launched the Realme GT 6T in the country last month and now plans to bring its elder sibling, the Realme GT 6, globally. The company has started sending out media invites and revealed the launch date of the upcoming phone.
Realme GT 6 To Launch On June 20 In India
The Realme GT 6 will launch globally on June 20, including in India, at 1:30 PM IST. The phone will have AI features and go on sale via Flipkart and the Realme India website.

The media invite showcases the back panel of the Realme GT 6, the first phone in the GT series unveiled in 2021. It also lists subsequent phones in the GT series, such as the Realme GT Master Edition, Realme GT Neo 2, Realme GT Neo 3T, Realme GT 2, Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme GT Neo 3, Realme GT Neo 5, Realme GT 5 and the Realme GT 5 Pro.
Furthermore, there is also a poster with the image of a terminator accompanied by the text “I” ‘ll be back,” confirming the GT series’s comeback after two years in India.
The poster also showcases the phone’s back panel, similar to the recently launched Realme GT 6T. Furthermore, it will have a dual camera setup accompanied by an LED flash and will likely be a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 6.
GT 6 Expected Specifications
The Realme GT 6 will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone will likely offer LTPO support and a peak brightness of 6000 nits.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will power the phone paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It will ship with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 and offer up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone’s optics include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle sensor. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Realme GT 6 will pack a massive 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging, just like the GT Neo 6. It will be available in Green and Purple colours.
