Today, POCO unveiled the POCO Pad, the company’s first tablet. Notably, the POCO Pad is the rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro introduced in China last month. Today, POCO unveiled the POCO Pad, the company's first tablet.

During the POCO F6 smartphone launch in India, the company said that the POCO Pad, new TWS earphones, and a power bank would arrive shortly in the country. POCO did not provide a specific launch date, but the tablet is expected to be launched in India in the upcoming weeks.

POCO Pad: Specifications

The POCO Pad will soon launch in India, has a stylish dual-colour metal unibody design with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. It weighs 571g and is 7.52mm thick.

The POCO Pad’s internal components include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded to 1.5TB via microSD cards.

The Poco Pad will arrive in India with a 12.1′′ 120Hz LCD panel with 2.5K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 68 billion colours (12-bit), and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, it has triple certification from TÜV Rheinland and DC dimming for flicker-free viewing at lower brightness settings.

Its display supports Dolby Vision and four Dolby Atmos speakers. The 10,000mAh battery supports 33W charging and 16 hours of uninterrupted video streaming.

Its front and rear have 8MP cameras for taking pictures. Moreover, several connectivity choices exist, such as Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing And Availability

At introduction, the worldwide Poco Pad model costs $330, which is approximately ₹27,500. In addition, the first Poco tablet accessories cost $80, or around ₹6,500. The Poco Pad is likely to launch in India in the coming months and could compete against the Xiaomi Pad 6 and other similarly priced tablets.
