Motorola has confirmed the launch of its flagship smartphone, the Edge 50 Ultra, in India. The Edge 50 Ultra, which debuted in Europe in April, is finally on its way to the Indian shores. Furthermore, it will be the 1st phone from Motorola to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the country and will offer a wooden textured panel. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra To Launch In India On June 18, 2024

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will launch in India on the date June 18, 2024. It will go on sale via Flipkart and feature a real wooden finish. Furthermore, the phone will have “AI-Powered Pro-Grade Cameras” with 100x AI Super Zoom and Smart Connect to stream apps to PC.

The phone is also confirmed to launch with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, a step down from the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage in the global variant. Moreover, it will go on sale via Flipkart and will be available in Nordic Wood with a natural wooden finish, Forest Grey with a vegan leather back, and Peach Fuzz, the year’s Pantone colour.

According to previous reports, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will likely cost around Rs.60,000 to Rs.70,000. It will compete against the OnePlus 12 and the iQOO 12.

Edge 50 Ultra Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra sports a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ 10-bit OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It offers 2500 nits of peak brightness with Gorilla Glass Victus for protection.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 will power the phone, paired with 12GB of LPDRR5X RAM. It ships with Motorola Hello UI based on Android 14 and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel telephoto with 3x zoom. On the front, there will be a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
