A new report has revealed that Garena plans to localize its operation in India to relaunch Free Fire.
Free Fire Launch Imminent As Garena Looking To Shift Servers To India
A new report by the Economic Times has revealed that Garena Free Fire could soon launch in India. According to the report, the developer Garena plans to move its servers to Yotta Data Services in Mumbai.

It also mentions that Yotta is working closely with the Garena HQ team on the testing server to ensure it can handle these workloads with low latency. Furthermore, the report claims that it is important to ensure the server is tested properly before the launch of Free Fire in India, as technical snags can affect the prospects of players in esports tournaments.
Garena also confirmed its plan in a statement to ET: “Free Fire India will feature a fully localized infrastructure tailored to meet the needs and requirements of the authorities and our stakeholders in India.”
