CMF Phone (1) Confirmed To Launch In India, Go On Sale Via Flipkart

CMF has confirmed the launch of the CMF Phone (1) in India. For those unaware, CMF is the sub-brand of Nothing, and the Phone (1) will be the company’s first budget phone. CMF Phone (1) To Be Available On Flipkart

The CMF Phone (1) will go on sale via Flipkart and will be CMF’s first smartphone. Furthermore, the teaser reveals the phone will have a dial on its back panel similar to the CMF Buds apart from a leather finish.

Previous leaks have indicated that the CMF Phone (1) will be an entry-level smartphone with a price tag of around Rs.12,000. It will boast a dual camera setup with a replaceable plastic back cover.

However, the phone will miss out on premium features like NFC and Glyph Interface. Users can also expect a lock mechanism, which is likely to be incorporated into the dial to enable add-on accessories. It will go on sale in Black, Green, Blue, and Orange, with the orange being exclusive to India.

Phone (1) Expected Specifications

The CMF Phone (1) will likely be a rebrand of Nothing Phone (2a) with minor changes. According to a leak, it will sport a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 series (MT6886) will power the phone with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It will ship with Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 and offer up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD card.

On the back, it will feature a 50-megapixel primary and another secondary sensor in vertical orientation. You can also expect a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

The CMF Phone (1) will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In addition, you can expect Wi-Fi 6, LTE 4×4 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity.
