Apple iPhone SE (2020) top-of-the-line storage option is not available in India. The 256GB storage variant is now discontinued and no longer listing on Apple’s online store. Earlier, it launched in three available storage options – 64GB, 128GB, 256GB – last year. The premium 256GB variant is no longer available just days after iPhone 13 launch. Meanwhile, the company discontinued the iPhone XR, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max models in the country.

Apart from the discontinuation, there is no change in the prices of the Apple iPhone SE (2020). The 64GB storage variant is still retailing for ₹39,900, and the 128GB model can be bought for ₹44,900. To recall, the 256GB storage variant of the iPhone SE was previously available for ₹54,900. Interestingly, one can now get the iPhone 11 128GB variant for this same price.

On the other hand, other retailer sites still have the Apple iPhone SE (2020) 256GB storage option up for purchase. However, this is likely till stocks last. Flipkart has listed the 256GB storage option for ₹47,999. There is up to ₹15,000 off on exchange.

Apple iPhone SE (2020) Specifications

To recall, it comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD (750×1,334 pixels) IPS LCD display. It features Apple’s A13 Bionic chip. On the rear, the phone has a 12-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) with 4K 60fps video recording capability. The camera also allows you to capture portraits and supports Smart HDR. There is a 7-megapixel front camera for selfies on Apple iPhone SE (2020).

Meanwhile, some reports suggest that the company is planning to launch a new-gen iPhone SE in 2020. It can most likely launch in the first half of the next year. Although this is just speculation with any confirmation. Whereas, another reason can be the ongoing global chip shortage affecting the smartphone industry. Again, there is no evidence or confirmation as such.
